How can we help?

FAQ

Orders & Shipping

Is there anything I need to include in my package (Besides my film)?

We ask all customers to write their order number on the outside of their package and recommend including it on a note inside as well. We love receiving your doodles, art, Polaroids, prints, zines, and stickers—thank you for sharing your creativity with us!

Do you return negatives to me?

We believe that shooting film is all about having the physical negatives in hand. When setting up your shipping options at checkout, be sure to select ‘Return Shipping’ to have your film sent back to you.

What kind of film can you develop?
  • 35mm, 120, and other sizes by request.
  • Color C-41, Black+White film.
Can you develop single-use disposable cameras?

Yes! Both color and black+white. Just select Disposable Camera as your film type when you are ordering.

Do I have to worry about my film being X-RAYed in the mail?

Although there’s no definitive answer to this concern, we haven’t observed any effects from X-RAY on orders unless the film traveled through an airport without a hand check from TSA. To help protect your film, you can print and attach this PDF from Kodak to the outside of your package:X-RAY LABEL

Do I receive a mailing label to get my order to Creativeroom Film Lab?

A mailing label can be purchased conveniently at this link:MAILING LABEL. Your label will be emailed to you after checkout, within 24 hours or sooner (typically within 5minutes). Just pack up your rolls, print the label, and put onto a padded envelope or small box! Drop at your local mailbox or post office.

Develop & scan

Are there any restrictions on the type of film content you accept?

As a husband-and-wife film lab, we have established the following guideline: We do not accept film containing nudity, pornography, harm to self or others, or sexually explicit content. Any film submitted with such content will be discarded without processing, and no refunds will be provided.

Our heart is to cultivate a safe place for all creatives to feel like they are home among family—from little film analogists to seasoned photographers. This policy is in place to maintain a family-friendly environment where everyone, including children, can freely and comfortably engage in the creative process.

Thank you for your understanding.

What equipment do you use to develop & scan film?

Develop: We develop color film using the Noritsu V30 processor to ensure consistent and high-quality results.

For black-and-white film, each roll is hand-developed using a specialized chemistry.

Scan: We use a Noritsu autofeed scanner running EZ Controller. Stay tuned for Frontier Scans.

What are your turnaround times for scans?

2-5 business days. Please note that we are closed on weekends – weekdays count as business days. We are open M-F from 9am-5pm.

Do you develop 120?

**Currently Unavailable Due to High Volume** Yes! We offer C-41 Color and Black + White 120 film developing & scanning.

Do you scan half-frames?

Yes! We absolutely do. Due to half frames taking double the time to scan, there is an add-on cost.
