For photographers with another roll ready to send.

Know the people handling your film, roll after roll.

Kyle and Paulina develop and scan your film in Walla Walla, then email your gallery. Choose the files you need and decide what happens to your negatives before you send the next batch.

The lab is part of your process.

You know how you like to shoot. Choosing a lab means understanding what happens next: who handles the film, what files come back, and whether your originals return with them.

  • JPEGs for sharing, or TIFFs for your editing workflow?
  • Different services for different rolls?
  • Cut sleeves or an uncut roll of negatives back?

Real scans. Clear context.

These photographs were scanned at Pro 4K from 35mm color film. They show customer work from the lab, not a controlled comparison between scan tiers or a promise to match another photographer’s colors.

Meet your lab.

We’re Kyle and Paulina, the husband-and-wife team doing the work here in Walla Walla. Color film runs through our Noritsu QSF-V30, black & white is developed by hand in batches, and scanning happens on our Noritsu LS-1100.

The process is clear rather than automatic reordering: choose the services for each new batch, send the film, and look for check-in and gallery emails. Your account also shows linked, delivered galleries and lab-status updates.

  1. Build your order

Choose film, scan tier and physical returns per roll. Use quantities for matching configurations and separate groups for different services.

  2. Pack it safely

Pack your rolls securely with the order number inside and outside. Keep exposed film closed; send disposable cameras whole.

  3. Send it our way

Mail your package to the lab, or use The Showroom drop box in Walla Walla. Choose postage for the actual packed weight.

  4. Look for check-in

We email when your package is opened and the rolls are logged. A carrier’s delivered notice is not lab check-in.

  5. Open your gallery

After development and scanning, we email your gallery. View the photos, download your files and share the link.

Usually 3–7 business days from when we open your package and log your rolls. Busy periods can take longer. Carrier transit and delivery are separate from this estimate.

Choose what fits.

Choose by the files you want to work with. The examples above are labeled by their actual service, not presented as an identical-frame comparison across tiers.

SuperPro TIFFTIFF

Larger TIFF files for an editing workflow.

Illustration of optional 4×6 prints

Paper photos. Original film.

Keep originals with Cut & Sleeved or Uncut & Sleeved. Add whole-roll 4×6 prints now or select favorites in the gallery later. These are optional paid choices.

Cut & Sleeved returns your film in strips in sleeves. Uncut & Sleeved returns it uncut in a sleeve. Don’t Return Them means no negatives back. Prices update in the form when you choose.

Getting film to us

Our Mailing Label is prepaid postage TO the lab, emailed after payment, for a packed package under 1 pound. Choose My Own Postage for heavier boxes and buy postage for the actual weight. My Own Postage means no label purchased from us—not free carrier postage.

Getting physical items back

Return shipping for prints or negatives is separate and calculated at checkout. The inbound label does not cover that trip. Local drop-box orders still need return shipping if physical items are coming back.

A few good questions.

Something specific about your film?

Ask Kyle & Paulina
Which films can I send?

This form supports 35mm color, 35mm black & white, disposable cameras and color half-frame. Ask us before sending unlisted formats or processes. Half-frame black & white needs a check with us first.

Can I mix services within one order?

Yes. Configure each service combination separately or use a quantity for matching rolls. Your Order groups identical variants; expand a group to edit or remove individual rolls without rebuilding the rest.

What files do the scan tiers produce?

Standard 2K gives you JPEGs for everyday viewing and sharing. Pro 4K gives you JPEGs with more room to crop. SuperPro TIFF gives you larger files for an editing workflow. Every option includes digital scans; prints and negative returns are optional. The examples on this page are labeled Pro 4K. We do not currently show a controlled same-frame crop comparison across all tiers.

How do I receive and save the files?

We email one private gallery link to the ordering customer. View your rolls on a phone or computer, download photos or entire rolls, and share the link with people you choose. No account is needed to open it. Save your files somewhere safe and check the gallery’s availability date.

Can I have my negatives returned?

Yes. Choose Cut & Sleeved or Uncut & Sleeved for each roll you want returned. Negatives are your physical originals. If you choose Don’t Return Them, they will not come back to you. Return shipping is separate at checkout, including for local drop-box orders. Cut & Sleeved means strips placed in sleeves; Uncut & Sleeved keeps the roll uncut in a sleeve.

Can I add prints now or later?

Yes. Add 4×6 prints of every photo when configuring a roll, or choose your favorites from the delivered gallery later and buy prints through Shopify. Prints are optional and their shipping is separate.

What is the turnaround and postage arrangement?

Usually 3–7 business days from when we open your package and log your rolls. Busy periods can take longer. A carrier’s delivered notification is not lab check-in: look for our film received email. We email again when your gallery is ready. The Mailing Label is prepaid postage TO the lab for a packed package under 1 pound. It is emailed after payment. For heavier packages, choose My Own Postage and buy postage for the actual packed weight. My Own Postage means no label purchased from us; your carrier still charges for postage. Return shipping for prints or negatives is separate and calculated at checkout.

How do I order the next batch?

Return to this page or our regular order page and configure the film and services for the new batch. A previous order is not copied automatically. There is no subscription or automatic reorder attached to this service.

What will I find in my customer account?

Sign in with the email used for your order to see linked, delivered galleries and lab-status updates. The original gallery email works too. Account access does not extend gallery availability, so download and back up your files.
